The Knights of Columbus remains firmly committed to defending the right to life of every human being, from the moment of conception to natural death. Countless councils and individual Knights conduct projects aimed to build a culture of life in their communities. What we choose to do, or not do, about abortion, euthanasia, human cloning and embryonic research impacts lives for generations to come. The last, LAMB Foundation, is a major initiative of the Knights of Columbus in North Carolina. Our council maintains a leadership position in this worthy organization.
Football Pool Results
The 2026-2027 Football Pool is in the twelveth year of play in our council. The funds raised support Life programs and general council initiatives.

Through the Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) program, Knights of Columbus councils help provide critical financial and material support to local pregnancy resource centers. Our council specifically supports Wilmington's LifeLine Pregnancy Center and North Carolina's Room At The Inn through the council's annual golf outing.
We share the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe and promote respect for life by participating in this meaningful pilgrimage. The Silver Rose program demonstrates the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States and Mexico, through a series of prayer services promoting the dignity of all human life and honoring Our Lady.
Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. U.S. and Mexican Knights typically meet at the International Bridge in Laredo, Texas, to exchange the roses. From there the roses are brought to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City on or near her feast day, December 12.
