Membership Report: Membership Director Greg Peters

·         We exemplified 6 new Spanish members on November 12, and 6 new English members on November 14. We have a wonderfully growing Council!  We only have a few left to exemplify so will try to get them to another council’s exemplification or following our summer membership drive.  They can still come to meetings and participate in projects. We have 21 new members so far this year and if we get to 30 we will get the Triple Star Award.

·         May 18th is the next membership drive.  Start talking to other men in the church about what we do.

·         All “NEW” Knights were given the opportunity to introduce themselves. These were 10 of the 46 attending the meeting.  Several have already assumed responsibility for events and received awards!!

·         March for Life DC was January 19th.  I encourage everyone, if you haven’t already, to read the January 4 e-mail from Supreme on “Will You March With Us?” to see the multiple Knights activities and consider for next year.  Also, note the opportunity through March 24 (at the JPII Shrine) to venerate first-class relics of the recently beatified Ulma family, (Jozef and Wiktoria and the 7 children, including 1 unborn) who were martyred by the Nazis for hiding two Jewish families.  Also, the JPII shrine is a must-see, if you haven’t already visited.
