Three 3rd Degree ceremonies are scheduled through October. The next one is May 28 in Greensboro.
-
The International Food Festival (IFF) is this weekend. Tom Woodard is cooking sliders and other taste treats. The greatest need is with parking being led by Greg Decker. (A signup sheet was passed later in the meeting for volunteers.)
-
The next major event is the St. Mark Golf Outing on May 19 at the Muni. Players are really needed as well as sponsors. Other councils are fielding multiple four man teams to vie for best knights team. We need to have teams playing. More info will be forthcoming following the IFF. Flyers are available in the communication center or go to kofc12017.org/index.php/golf-outing or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. We will be cooking a dinner for the Confirmation Class on May 20. Volunteers are needed. Please see George Schadt.
-
This year's Memorial Day Picnic will be at a new location -- Ronnie Giardini's -- on Saturday, May 26.
-
[Editorial comment: Mark Pahl offered to make a generous donation to the council if knights would spread mulch in his yard on April 14 beginning at 8:00am. Few knights volunteered so the council lost a sizeable donation.]
